Here's everything new and improved in Golden Analytics this week.
You can now define and track key performance indicators as named metrics. Each metric shows its current value, trend direction, a sparkline, and AI-generated insights — including anomaly detection, momentum analysis, and actionable recommendations. Dimension breakdowns and suggested follow-up questions help you explore what's driving changes in your numbers.
Scatter plots now support a quadrant overlay that divides your chart into four zones based on average, median, or a custom threshold. Each quadrant gets its own label and color, and data points are automatically colored by which quadrant they fall in. Toggle it on from the Format pane or via Command+K.
You can now display data labels directly on scatter plot points, with smart positioning and collision detection to prevent overlap. A "Min/Max/Median" mode focuses labels on just your most significant data points — keeping the chart readable even with large datasets.
Bar and line charts now fully support dual Y-axes, letting you plot measures with very different scales on the same chart. Each measure can independently render as a bar, line, or area — all configurable per-measure in the Format pane.
Snowflake connections now support Programmatic Access Tokens (PAT) and Key Pair authentication. These are required following Snowflake's deprecation of single-factor password login in November 2025.
